Still Renting in Albuquerque, NM…?
Are you a renter still sitting on the fence about buying your first home?
If so, even though everyone is talking about doom and gloom in this economic climate, this could be the perfect time to be a home buyer in Albuquerque.
Doesn’t buying a home sound like a crazy thing to even consider especially with all the talk of the worst recession since… And even that “D” word no one likes to say is not just being whispered any more but being discussed openly?
Just take a look at the recent government incentive program called the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. And pay particular attention to the part about incentive tax credit programs for first time home buyers and you will see what I mean.
In fact, it’s such good news for home buyers and sellers alike that we may see more scenes like the picture depicted in this article. It’s funny but true!
Don’t Miss Out on This Government $8000 Tax Incentive…
This government home buying incentive program states that people who haven’t owned their own home within the last three years just might be eligible for up to $8000 in tax credits. Those who qualify must purchase their own home by November 30 of this year.
The best part of all is that you can reap the tax benefits almost immediately by applying it towards your 2008 taxes. And for those of you who have already filed, you can still benefit right away by sending in an amended 2008 tax return.
And if the $8000 is more than your tax refund, you will receive the remainder in cash. It really doesn’t get any better than that as far as I can tell. This could give you that extra cash you need to decorate your new real estate investment to suit your individual needs.
If I didn’t already own a home, I would be jumping on that band wagon as soon as possible. What a fantastic idea for getting this economy moving again.
